Perfect homemade gluten free chocolate brownies made easy, with Jessica Bakes-Well
Regular readers to this blog will know that there are two things I really like: Chocolate brownies and not cooking.
So when the lovely Jessica Bakes-Well sent us a jar of their artisan gluten free Chocolate Brownie Mix it was a bit of a dream come true. And just how pretty are those jars?
Each high quality ingredient is carefully measured and hand layered into the jar including white, milk and dark chocolate chunks (yum). Then all you have to do is tip the contents of the jar into a bowl, add butter and milk, and bake. And – hey, presto – amazingly deliciously gorgeous chocolate brownies just 20 minutes later. And these were really scrumptious.
Other Jessica Bakes-Well gluten free recipes include Eton Mess Cookie Mix; Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Cookie Mix; and Gingerbread, which comes with its own gingerbread man cookie cutter. Cute! There’s also a range of non GF mixes and children’s sets too.
And as each jar is finished with a handcrafted label and beautiful raffia ribbon, we think they make really attractive pressies.
So where can you get your hands on these lovely jars? You can buy them online from the Jessica Bakes-Well Facebook page. Prices range from £8.45 to £10.95 and postage is £5.95.
Or look out for Jessica Bakes-Well jars at various Farmer’s Markets and craft and food fairs throughout the northwest, and selected independent retailers. You can also find the full range at Botany Bay, Chorley.
We review lots of products here at The Gluten Free Blog and this has been one of our absolute favourites.
