Seabrook Gluten Free Crisps

Seabrook have been lovingly making crisps in sunny Yorkshire since 1945. And unsurprising they really know what they’re doing.

Seabrook are well known for their famous crinkle cut crisps. In fact, they were the first brand to launch crinkle cut crisps in the UK back in the 1950s. But their straight cut crisps disappeared from our shelves in the early noughties. Well, good news. They’re back by popular demand (via social media), and this week we got to try their lovely gluten free crunchiness.

Lots of plain crisps are gluten free, of course. But as soon as flavours are added they often go off the menu for coeliacs. Not so with Seabrook. All their flavours – Sea Salted; Cheese & Onion; and Sea Salt & Vinegar  – are gluten free and suitable for vegans too. We tried the Cheese & Onion and they were really light and really flavoursome without being overpowering, and pretty low in calories too.

They’re currently available to buy in Morrisons with plans to roll them out to the other supermarkets in May and are available as 25g bags in 6 pack multipacks with a RRP of £1.70.
