Bis*Bas sauces come in 3 delicious varieties

Bis*Bas is a family run company founded by two Arabian sisters-in-law Muna and Muna who decided to share their love of Middle Eastern cooking by launching their own sauce range based on traditional family recipes.

Bis*Bas gluten free sauces come in three delicious varieties: Fozia a sweet tomato and coriander Arabian cooking sauce containing black onion seeds and green chillies; Safia an aromatic tomato based sauce with flavours of garlic and herbs; and Saba a spinach and coriander sauce.

All sauces have authentic Middle Eastern spices and flavours that have been used for thousands of years, and rather brilliantly are nut free, wheat free, gluten free and suitable for coeliacs and vegans. And the sauces are incredibly versatile too, and can be used as a marinade for meat, fish and vegetables or as cooking sauce or even as dip.

Bis*Bas Fozia sauce with chick peas

We were lucky enough to get our hands on all of them. So we tried Fozia served with chick peas for a sweet and tasty dish full of flavour. We tried Saba with chicken and peppers for a lovely fresh and fragrant dish. And we mixed vegetables with Safia for a mellow, rich and flavoursome dish. Delicious.
